Stuff called Barber Shave or King Barber.  You can get it at Rite Aid, not king of Shaves, can't think of the name.  Different smells.  Not too expensive.

Bigelow is only $10 and works and smells great.  Lasts forever.  I think in a rotation 1 tube has lasted me close to 8 months.

By the way, that place is fantastic to do business with.  I have ordered all my Derby blades from them, and the "free ground shipping" has always ended up as 2-3 day Priority.

Wow, thanks for the info. I have bookmarked the site and will be placing an order soon. These shaving forums are a great warehouse of information!

While I love my soaps, I'm still trying to work through all of the Derby creams I have (and they are pretty good!)

I have tried the Derby creams and they are quite good. I ordered the entire set, but have only used a few of the tubes. I am saving one or two for the sample pack that we are passing around. (see the Free and PIF thread).

How about Erasmic or Ingrams? You can find them for around $7 a tube

Wars is good stuff and about same price as Derby the last time I checked

I like the way Wars performs but find the scent to be a bit funky.

I personally cannot get too great a lather with the Derby.  I've used Tom's of Maine and Art of Shaving along with some samples of Trumpers.  All seem to give a nice lather except that Derby.  I'll have to try some other techniques.
