I have been watching Purselab's (Gregory) company grow over the past few months and am intrigued by the new razors he is churning out. The iKon razor sets itself apart by making new razor heads in addition to razor handles. I am interested in picking up a Bulldog spindle but would like to hear others opinions of the iKon razor before making the plunge. Please chime in.

I bought one with a classic long handle. That was good, but after buying the ball end short handle, it got perfect. YMMV, of course. It shaves very similar to the Merkur 15C, but the build is way more solid! The blade can be a bit tricky to put in, because the fit is so precise. There is no tolerance at all, which gives you exactly the same blade exposure on both sides. Excellent craftsmanship! My current #1!

I have heard excellent things about the iKon razors. It is exciting to have a new brand of DE razors. The pictures that I have seen of the Bulldog spindle prototype are stunning. It reminds me of the old single ring razors only more solidly built. This will definitely be the next razor in my collection!

Gents , all I can say is wait for my two new styles coming out towards the end of Jan 2010.

All the learning curves with my first endeavors will be honed to perfection.

Fit and finish have really been perfected and I will basically be offering stainless steel surgical grade shaving instruments
